Privacy Policy

Anchor is a personal email-assistant app operated by Chineme Dimkpa as a sole proprietor. This policy explains, in plain words, what Anchor collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

What we collect

How we use it

Solely to notify you — in the app and by text — when something in your own inbox needs your attention, and to draft replies you review and send. We do not use your data for advertising.

SMS / text messages

If you provide your mobile number and agree during onboarding, we send you account notifications by text. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for help.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or personal information with third parties. Mobile information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We use service providers only to operate Anchor: Twilio (to deliver text messages); our AI model provider, which does not train on your data; Google and Microsoft (for the mailbox access you authorize); and our hosting provider. These providers process your data only to provide their service to Anchor.

Your controls

You can disconnect any mailbox and permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time, from the app's Settings. Deleting your account revokes Anchor's access and erases your stored data.

Security

Your mailbox access tokens are encrypted at rest, and we keep the amount of data we store to a minimum.
